Planning an ambulance around patient care
Patient transport, emergency monitoring and isolation call for different ambulance layouts. The patient-care role determines where the crew needs working space and which medical equipment must fit. In this catalog, Class A, B and C are the names used for the three packages in the comparison. They do not establish equivalence to a destination standard; the purchase specification needs to name the required standard and care role.
Build the power and climate-control requirements around that layout, with an agreed cleaning process. An isolation vehicle needs a negative-pressure system whose specified performance is validated; an ordinary emergency ambulance does not establish that capability.
