Before you choose a curtainsider truck
A curtainsider truck has flexible curtains that slide along a roofed cargo deck. Side loading works when the opening between posts, the gathered curtain and the forklift approach fit the packed load. Internal body size and the clear side or rear opening are separate measurements on the drawing. The comparison lists published length and height ranges for each body family; their largest measurements are not necessarily available together. Check internal width in the linked product specifications and confirm the finished dimensions on the quotation drawing.
The curtain provides weather cover; it does not by itself establish a rated cargo-restraint system. Specify the floor duty and securing points using the curtainsider buying checklist. Any rated body needs matching documentation and permitted loading conditions, including partial loads. At the most restricted delivery site, compare curtainsider and wing van access, allowing room to handle the curtain or raise the wing. For a quotation, send the packed pallet dimensions, count and mass, forklift details, and the loading space available at each stop.
