Checking the loading path for machinery transport
A machinery transporter needs a deck that fits the machine's dimensions and mass, with acceptable axle loads once it is aboard. Getting onto the deck is a separate check: the loading method and ramp angle must suit the machine's ground clearance. A low or tilting deck with ramps suits compatible wheeled or tracked machines.
If the machine needs a lift, compare the version with an onboard crane against the deck-only transporter. The machine must fit both the deck limits and the crane's confirmed load chart; that crane is not for lifting personnel. Confirm the restraints and route limits for the complete load before agreeing the configuration.
