Test the functions in the contract
A pre-delivery demonstration should establish whether the built system matches the approved design and performs the agreed functions. It should not become an attempt to demonstrate an undefined maximum. Identify the tank, pump, piping and controls first.
The agreed procedure should address guards, mounting, fluids, priming and safe zones before the system is energized. Individual outlets and approved combined modes need their own results. An unsafe or incomplete installation is not ready for functional testing.
Record the setup behind the observed result
A visible discharge proves neither a measured flow nor a coverage claim. Record the operating mode, conditions, observations and measurements against the acceptance criteria agreed before the test. One functioning outlet does not establish the whole system’s condition.

Keep corrections and approval with the test record
List each exception, the corrective work and its verification, then retain the approver and release status. Use the installed manuals and destination inspection requirements. Edited video or verbal closure cannot replace the controlled record.

Common mistakes and what to check instead
- Testing with an empty or unprimed pump: Follow the selected pump and drive preparation instructions.
- Recording only a wide-angle video: Tie observations and any measurements to the named mode and setup.
- Leaving small leaks for site correction: Record, correct and retest before release unless formally accepted.
