Electric Van or Electric Van Truck: choose for your deliveries

Compare an integrated cargo van with a separate box-body truck around the goods and receiving sites. Keep family ranges separate from the V7E and H9E order details.

Parcels and pallets put different demands on the body

KEEYAK's Electric Van has an integrated cargo body. The Electric Van Truck carries a separate enclosed box. Both protect dry cargo, but the useful comparison is the finished space and the way the load reaches it. Give the supplier the same packed goods and delivery list, then compare the cargo-floor layouts and clear openings against the receiving sites. On a parcels route, access to packages at repeated stops matters, so examine the door openings actually offered. Pallet delivery needs a drawing of the packed units with the proposed loading method, including any dock or tail lift. The body's shape alone cannot establish faster unloading or a larger usable load. Nor can it establish access to a restricted site.

Hypothetical purchasing scenario: A delivery business is replacing a vehicle used for parcel rounds and occasional pallet transfers between shops. The purchasing manager first favours the box-truck proposal because its listed battery is larger. The dispatcher brings the discussion back to a shop's restricted service entrance and the parcels that need access throughout the round. The team asks for an integrated-van proposal against the same cargo brief, and leaves open whether the pallet transfers belong on that vehicle at all. Range and depot charging remain separate questions for the route assessment.

Battery and payload need to belong to one vehicle

The Electric Van reference gives batteries of 40 to 106 kWh and payloads of 1 to 2.5 t. For Electric Van Truck, the corresponding family ranges are 30 to 132 kWh and 1 to 5 t. These ranges summarize separate product families. They neither pair every battery with every payload nor promise the largest battery and highest payload on the same vehicle. A cargo-allowance comparison needs a named chassis with a specified battery and body. Establish its mass ready for work, including the crew and routinely carried equipment. Any lift installation counts as well. Assess the intended cargo positions against the axle limits; having floor space available does not establish the mass the completed truck may carry.

The V7E and H9E records describe different orders

The Comoros Geely V7E cargo-van order lists a 48 kWh battery and 1,300 kg rated load. The Jamaica Geely H9E electric box-truck order lists a 162.28 kWh battery, with a hydraulic tailgate specified at 1.5 t. Each belongs to a different vehicle and order. The values cannot be exchanged between them as selection options. KEEYAK Comoros Geely V7E order KEEYAK Jamaica Geely H9E order

The H9E's recorded battery is outside the general Electric Van Truck range above. Keep that order separate from the family reference: it does not widen the range or mean every box truck can take the same battery. For a new order, obtain written confirmation of the proposed configuration and cargo allowance, together with the service scope.

The V7E's shipping documents give a shipment mass of 1,660 kg. The 1,300 kg in its order is the rated load, so the two figures cannot be used interchangeably. For the H9E, the 1.5 t entry refers to the tailgate, and its vehicle payload is not stated. KEEYAK Comoros Geely V7E order KEEYAK Jamaica Geely H9E order

A shortlisted body still needs a route assessment

Both maintained product references describe Driving Range as model-specific; battery, payload and test cycle remain to be confirmed for the vehicle shortlisted. A driving-cycle figure cannot guarantee distance on a loaded delivery route. Give the supplier the route distance and stops, followed by the changes in load. Climate conditions and the available charging window also belong in that assessment. KEEYAK Electric Van specifications KEEYAK Electric Van Truck specifications

Once the supplier identifies the offered battery and charging interfaces, the route-reserve and depot-charging guides take the assessment further. A larger battery in an unrelated order cannot establish that your depot has the required power or a compatible connector.

Give both proposals the same delivery brief

Use one brief for both vehicles. Start with the packed cargo and the most restrictive receiving site, then describe the daily route and the time available to charge. In each proposal, pair the finished cargo drawing with the named chassis and battery. State the mass ready for work alongside the accepted cargo positions and clear exclusions. That lets the purchasing team compare usable vehicles against the same requirements.

KEEYAK Electric Van specifications

Integrated cargo-van family: 40 to 106 kWh battery and 1 to 2.5 t payload. Driving Range is model-specific and the test cycle needs confirmation. The ranges do not describe one offered configuration.

Separate enclosed-body truck family: 30 to 132 kWh battery and 1 to 5 t payload. Driving Range is model-specific and the test cycle needs confirmation. Individual orders remain separate from this reference.

KEEYAK Comoros Geely V7E order

The Comoros Geely V7E order specifies a 48 kWh battery and a 1,300 kg rated load. Its shipping documents list 1,660 kg as shipment mass. The July 2025 shipment went from Taicang to Dar es Salaam, with Comoros listed as the final destination. There is no record of onward arrival or local commissioning, and no measured route-performance data. The V7E photograph comes from another project.

KEEYAK Jamaica Geely H9E order

The Jamaica Geely H9E order specifies an electric box truck with a 162.28 kWh battery and a hydraulic tailgate rated at 1.5 t. It was shipped to Kingston in October 2025. The order does not state the vehicle's payload or cargo-body dimensions. Range and the charging interface are also unspecified. The tailgate entry gives no accepted load-centre arrangement or proof-test result for a future installation, and does not confirm dock compatibility. The photographs illustrate a configuration but have not been matched to the individual vehicle in the shipment.
