An ISUZU Wrecker and Two Recovery Bodies Shipped to Mexico

The Mexico shipment combined one complete ISUZU wrecker with two recovery-body packages supplied separately from a chassis. We shipped the order to Manzanillo in February 2026.

That mix is the distinctive part of this case. A buyer can discuss a complete vehicle and body-only supply within the same order, but the installation and supply responsibilities need to be clear for each item.

The complete truck was specified with a 3,815 mm wheelbase and a 4KH1N6MD engine rated at 140 hp / 103 kW. Its transmission has five forward gears and one reverse gear.

The recovery platform has a 5 t entry and dimensions of 5.8 × 2.2 m, with 4 mm chequer plate. A 5 t winch, rear support arm, auxiliary trolleys and straps were included in the equipment configuration.

The side and platform reference views help illustrate the arrangement. For another truck, the platform and winch ratings should be reviewed separately from completed-vehicle payload.

The two separate bodies were not additional completed trucks. For this kind of supply, the proposed receiving chassis needs to be identified before the mounting and operating interfaces can be reviewed.

Provide the chassis model, wheelbase, frame information and available equipment interfaces. Ask who will be responsible for installation, hydraulic and electrical connections, completed-vehicle checks and the documentation required after fitting.

The body quotation should say which components arrive assembled, which loose items are included and what work remains at the receiving workshop. A clear packing and installation scope makes the handover easier to plan.

A recovery body’s rating must be considered with the chassis on which it is installed. The completed mass, axle distribution and mounting arrangement affect the finished vehicle.

For the winch, platform and rear lifting equipment, request the stated rating conditions and instructions for the proposed installation. Do not treat one 5 t entry as a blanket capacity for every function or vehicle position.

This matters when comparing a fully integrated truck with a body-only offer. The prices cover different work unless installation and final checks are included on the same basis.

Send the dimensions, weight, wheelbase and ground clearance of typical vehicles to be recovered. Those inputs help review deck length, loading access and the transition onto the platform.

Include any low-front-overhang or long-wheelbase vehicles that are important to the business. A bed that is long enough to carry a vehicle still needs a compatible loading path.
