Our Palau customer ordered a HOWO 4×2 wrecker with a flatbed, winch, rear lifting arm and auxiliary wheel trolleys. The order brings several recovery functions onto a truck with a 3,360 mm wheelbase.
The bed measures 5,300 × 2,200 mm and uses a specified 4 mm plate. The winch entry is 4 t with a 21 m wire rope. The towing equipment is listed at 4 t, with 3 t rear-arm lifting.
These are separate equipment figures. For another truck, the ratings should be matched to the intended recovery tasks and the completed vehicle’s limits, rather than combined into one overall capacity claim.

The order included four tie-down straps, two sets of auxiliary trolleys, two rear work lights, warning equipment and an L-shaped tyre holder. These items are part of the recovery package, not details to leave until shipping.
The close reference view shows the winch cable, guide pulleys, work lights and wheel dollies behind the cab. The rear view shows the loading structure and lamps.
For your own order, list the vehicles you expect to handle and ask which accessories are included for those tasks. Confirm the operating instructions and compatibility for the proposed equipment.
Read the recovery ratings separately
A winch rating describes the winch under stated conditions. A rear-arm lifting figure concerns another part of the system. Neither alone establishes the load that the completed truck may carry on the road.
Ask for the conditions attached to each rating, including the rear-arm position and the winch information needed for the proposed use. The finished truck’s gross mass and axle limits also need checking with the recovered vehicle in place.
When comparing offers, keep platform loading, winch pulling, rear-arm lifting and towing entries on separate lines. This makes it easier to identify where two apparently similar packages differ.

Check the vehicles against the deck geometry
Provide the length, width, wheelbase, ground clearance and weight of representative vehicles in your work. The 5,300 mm bed in this order is a dimensional reference; its suitability for another recovery vehicle depends on the full loading arrangement.
Low-clearance vehicles need particular attention to the approach and transition onto the platform. Ask for the proposed deck geometry and an appropriate compatibility review using the vehicles you intend to recover.
Also describe the site conditions and space available for positioning the truck. Equipment capacity and access to the recovery position are both part of choosing the vehicle.
