Vehicle configuration reference
The platform and recovery equipment
The reference photographs show a recovery demonstration, platform equipment and a rear view. They help explain the arrangement of a rollback body and its loading area.
For a similar truck, describe the vehicles you need to handle and the conditions in which they will be collected. A freely rolling vehicle and one with damaged running gear may require different equipment and handling arrangements, which should be reviewed with the supplier.
List the accessories required for your work and ask which are included. Their compatibility and instructions belong in the handover package alongside the platform and winch information.

A 5 t platform and a 4 t winch are different ratings
The platform and winch entries describe different parts of this order. A platform load figure should not be used as a winch pulling value, and the winch rating does not establish road payload.
Request the conditions attached to each rating for a new quotation. The completed vehicle must also be checked for gross and axle limits with the recovered vehicle in its transport position.
This separation makes offer comparisons clearer. Put chassis limits, platform rating, winch rating and any lifting or towing equipment on individual lines rather than asking for a single “tonnage” for the truck.
For more detail, see Wrecker capacity: deck, winch, tow and lift ratings.
Give the supplier the loading geometry
Provide the weight, dimensions, wheelbase and ground clearance of the vehicles that matter to your business. Include the lowest-clearance and longest-wheelbase examples, not just an average vehicle.
Ask for the platform’s usable dimensions and loading geometry to be checked against those examples. The front and rear overhangs of the recovered vehicle can affect the loading path even when its wheels fit on the deck.
Also describe the working space available around the truck. The ability to get into position and load safely is part of the configuration discussion, alongside the rated equipment.
For more detail, see Wrecker deck length and loading angle for low-clearance vehicles.
A quotation for the next Peru order
Send the representative vehicle list, recovery tasks, required accessories and destination port. If you have specific chassis or engine preferences, include them with the operating requirement.
The Dongfeng order provides a reference for the platform, winch and powertrain combination. A new proposal should show how those parts fit your recovered vehicles and the completed truck’s carrying limits.
